There is nothing like a competition to make for perfection. This Intach Heritage quiz on a city level was organized where many schools of Varanasi and few were from another cities participated in the quiz competition at Aryan International School on 17th August 2023 from 10am onwards.There were many groups from various schools with two students each. The first round was written and the top four teams which qualified in that round were from: Sunbeam Lahartara, Atulanand Convent School, Aryan International and Sunbeam Mughalsarai. The next round consisted of questions on different topics related to Intach Heritage. On every correct the team would score 15 points.

Children of class 4 went for quality circle presentation to School of Management Sciences, Varanasi on 24th September 2023. Children left from school at 8 o’clock in the morning. The name of Quality Circle team was “Shamnam”. The case study was on “Lack of peaceful environment in the classroom”.The names of the participants were:Kridha Pandey (Team Leader) Tanishqa Singh (Deputy Leader) Mohd. Ibrahim (Member) Prakhar (Member Vishnupriya Shukla (Member)Pragati (Member) The felicitator of the team was our Principal Ma’am Dr. Anita Pauline Dey and the teachers involved in training were Mrs. Shashi Seth, Mrs. Rupali Arora and Mrs. Deepa Stevens.Children were accompanied by coordinator Mr.Rajan Pandey, Mrs. Shashi Seth, Mrs. Deepa Stevens and Mrs. Rupali Arora. The team won “GOLD AWARD”. This is the eighth Gold Award of our school in VRCCQC (Varanasi Chapter Convention on Quality Concepts). Children took 21 meetings. After the presentation children reached school at 7:30 p.m. and were handed over to their parent.

Generation Global, formerly known as Face to Faith, is the Tony Blair Faith Foundation’s international school program me, established in 2009. Its main aim is to empower young people (aged 13–17) with the knowledge, skills, and mindset required to become open-minded, responsible, and active global citizens. The vision of the organization is to foster intercultural dialogue, empathy, and understanding across boundaries, thereby preparing future leaders to embrace diversity and work together for peace.Our school has been proudly affiliated with Generation Global since 2015 and has actively engaged in various meaningful initiatives.In 2016, we participated in the Global Peace Day Competition in collaboration with Cooperation Ireland and received an achievement award. Our principal- Dr. Anita Pauline Dey was also honored with the Best Educator Award for her commitment to incorporating dialogue into learning communities and encouraging students to grow as global citizens.Major programsThrough this platform, our students have connected with peers across the globe, including Gymnasium and Odessa (Ukraine), Solenodons Secondary School (Ukraine), Ginsburg High School (Israel), and Silver Oaks School and College (Pakistan). OUR TRASH GETS REPURPOSED FOR REUSE AND REDUCED CONSUMPTION OF RAW MATERIALS. With this approach, an awareness programme was organized for students are to train them in recycled art which is a creative work that's made from discarded materials that once had another purpose.Students from classes 4 to 8 learnt the art of recycling the waste materials by making beautiful Rakhis and dolls out of it. In children it triggers their imagination, enhanced creativity & problem-solving skills.They also learnt to get rooted to their culture which teaches them discipline, ethics and moral values which needs to be carried everytimewhenever they are exposed to the world.Cultural values bind them together which makes them strong and united. It makes them learn tolerance and understand brother hood which paves the path of social harmony, economic and improvement and physical well-being of the community and others. Students also learnt to reduce consumption of raw materials, save and conserve natural resources. Recycled art was used to promote social awareness and encourage conservation about sustainability and environmentalism especially in the younger generations.
