Dr. Anita Pauline Dey began her professional journey in 1988 as Co-ordinator at William Henry Smith Memorial School, where she also served as Senior Teacher of Biology and English. In 1992, she took on the mantle of Principal of the school and the Director of the William Henry Smith Memorial School Society.
With this transition, she stepped into a visionary leadership role, laying the foundation for decades of institutional growth, academic excellence, and innovative educational practices that continue to shape the school’s legacy.

Introduced Quality Control Circles (QCC) in school, winning prestigious awards including John Mann Synergy Award, Deming Award (thrice), Ishikawa Award (four times), Excellence Award (twice), and Gold Award (11 times). In 2002, QCC team met Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, President of India.
